CDTi's Catalyzed Diesel Particulate Filter Technology Approved for Patent Grant

VENTURA, Calif., Nov. 8, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:CDTI) ("CDTi"), a cleantech emissions control company, is pleased to announce that its Catalyst Division was notified by the United States Patent and Trademark Office that its platinum group metal-free catalyzed diesel particulate filter ("DPF") technology has been approved for patent. When combined with a diesel oxidation catalyst, this breakthrough DPF technology — which utilizes absolutely no costly platinum group metals, or "PGMs" — reduces harmful particulate matter produced by diesel engines by over 95 percent.
